Christina Soulios
Christina Soulios is a first-generation scholar, the first in her family to obtain a college education, and is currently in her third-year of doctoral studies in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Florida International University. For the first part of her career, she was a psychologist and psychotherapist with extensive experience in a systems approach to fostering mental health in individual, family, and group contexts. As a bi-cultural mental health professional, her research interests pertain to the influence of employee cultural identity in workplace outcomes and the promotion of mental health in the workplace. As a non-traditional student, she shares her experience with the aim of inspiring others who desire to begin or to continue their academic journey to follow their hearts and indulge in creating their own path of growth and development.
